SWIFT
Audubon Binoculars
8.5 x 44 Roof Prism ( # 828 HHS )

|
RAVEN is now an
official SWIFT optics dealer. We can offer
prices as good as, if not better than any
stores and internet deals. I'm looking at
it as a way to offer a service to our
birding clients that fills out some of their
needs. Swift has improved on their 8.5 x 44
binoculars and made them a major step up
from water resistant, and they are now
purged with nitrogen and waterproof (with
the same lifetime warranty), phase coated
lenses (a state of the art process that
provides an increase in clarity), and
overall a glass comparable to the big guns
of Zeiss and Leica.
|
They are a great
value and the 8.5 power is so much better
than any 10x if you are using them in high
winds or from a boat. Some major
improvements in binoculars have been made in
the last few years and the price is quite
reasonable for the features compared to
other brand top-end models. They also have
a great scope (80mm Nighthawk) that you
should take a close look at because of it's
price/quality value.
The
Swift Audubon 8.5 x 44 binoculars list for $629, Maine Audubon sells them for $459.

SWIFT Reliant Binoculars
8x44 Roof Prism Waterproof #744
|
New, Low-priced Binocular by Swift -- Swift Reliant 8x42 Roof Prism Waterproof Binoculars #744 This is an interesting binocular on the lower end of the price scale, but big on view.
It DOES NOT include a "lifetime" warranty, but a five year warranty. I think this is one place where they have saved some costs because it is a good, solid, sharp binocular. |

Green Laser Pointer ...........aser Pointer...
Excellent tool for naturalists, teachers, and guides!
Projects a green laser beam/dot up to an incredible 10,000 feet away with 5 mW green laser (532 nm wavelength) that is 30 times brighter than a red laser. It has a true 5 mW output power due to proprietary feed back control technology. For astronomers, you can see the laser beam in a dark sky and use it to point out constellations or collimate your telescope. This is the brightest pointer on the market!!! You can also see the green dot outdoors in the daytime for pointing out birds or other objects of interest. |
For lecturers, it draws the attention of your audience and makes your lectures more impressive. It uses glass lenses and a Sony laser diode. This is a quality instrument with a brass housing... don't be fooled by less expensive, less bright, inferior pointers that are on the market. |

Compare to $255. lasers! RAVEN price is $149! Includes postage. |
