A new and exciting component to RAVEN Interpretive Programs! 

The RAVEN Travel Leadership Institute:

A week-long intensive training for seasoned travel directors, as well as those new to the industry, that have a strong desire to be on the cutting edge of travel experience.  Professionals, both in the field and on the operational level, will gain an advantage from the perspectives learned in our training.  We have assembled a team of talented instructors that are not only experts in their individual discipline, but also have that special ability of being masterful teachers.  This in-residence, intensive learning provides a saturation of the topics, as well as techniques to integrate these insights into any tour itinerary. This program will offer a universal framework essential to the enrichment of any travel to provide guests the best possible experience - insights woven together to create an understanding that profoundly awakens the traveler.  This comprehensive program will encompass Literature, Art, Music, History, Ecology, Astronomy, Climate/Weather, as well as other disciplines; the aim is to develop skill in putting everything together and interpreting why an area is the way it is.  Material will be covered in a number of formats, including lectures, workshops, field outings and discussion forums.  Our experts will share a design to build upon, along with skills to glean the details of a particular journey, enabling the leader to offer a polished presentation for any geographical area using project management skills to organize and facilitate preparation and delivery. This multi-disciplinary program goes beyond tour management. The RAVEN Travel Leadership Institute offers powerful tools for any travel leader, whether in the field or on the operational level.  The goal is to create enlightened travel bringing the experience alive for guests.

The intensive, in-residence design of this program allows for little time outside the schedule.  Saturation learning of this type has proven to be not only time efficient, but successful in the dissemination of information in a way that supports the growth of the learner.
